science and healthy eating week

This week was science week and healthy week.

We had rotation day

In 4l we did rocket mice.

In 4c we had a challenge to drop and egg without it breaking and we made a helicopter.

In 4h we made Plasticine boats and we had to put marbles in it without it sinking in the water.n In 4r we put are shoes in mud, water, wood, table and sandpaper to see how far it will go then we put them on toys to see how far it will go.

For healthy eating week we made fruit kebab which contains grapes, banana, pineapple, strawberries.We put the fruit on sticks like kebabs.

On monday 4l went to the ilford fire bragade. It was a long journey but we eventually got there. When we were there Colin,The fire brigade lead us in. It was very hollow in the part where they keep the fire engines. We looked in a room full of dangerous things that could start a fire. after that we went to look through a window and saw lots of smoke.

4l trip to hainault forest

On Wednesday morning class 4L went to Hainault forest for their school trip. The coach didnt take long to get there then we got there we met a nice man called David. After his speach he said we all got free hats that said tree planting.we had to walk 2miles to get to were we were planting.On our way to were we was planting everybody got exausted people was saying must eat snow or die. after the long walk . finally we walked through a field and what a sight flying snowballs Jaival kept on getting hit on the way back we were all tired. Everybody throw snowballs on to a frozen lake .

Pattens

In class 4L we were looking at pattens from a book called tales told in tents and these pattens were beautiful and exciting so as these interested us we stared to design them. There was one that we choose and it was excellent .They were all good but some of them shone out and we are going to show Nathans design. As he finished it looked really good but if everyone finished it would be hard to choose! by Jibril and Ela g

In 4L we panted our clay-model-lizards.It was lots of fun.

We uesd different colours like blue and green and red and gold and yellow and orange.

Some lizards's legs fell out!(Tee Hee!)

4L's Visit to the science museum

On Tuesday 21st of October 4L went to the science Museum in London to learn about materials and melting things.

First we went to the launch pad at 10:45 and played with all the equipment. There was water that had soap in it and we blew bubbles and there was a cycling machine that whoever gets the most wins.

Next, at 11:40 we had lunch and had to go down about 5 flights of stairs to get there. I had a sausage roll, melon and a mint kitkat I sat next to Amal and Laeticia. We sat on stairs and had pattens on them.

At 12:30 we saw a science show it was called,flash bang wallop! We saw lots of explosions. The lady fired a barbie doll out of a cannon! Everyone laughed. She told us that we had to have oxygen, heat and fuel to make a explosion.

After the show we went to the material gallery and we saw lots of different materials and walked over a glass bridge. We scared Miss Lowden by jumping on it. Me and Laeticia hid when she took a photograph! We saw old fashion toys and what materials they were made out of.

After a while we went to the 'Secret life of the home'. We went through a burglar passage and we tried to not make the alarm go off. It was great fun! There was a ball in a table like thing and it had a sensitivity that if you touched it the table it will not come out. If you did not touch it, it would come out. There was some fake toilets and it was very funny!

Finally we went to the gift shop and I got a pencil and pen to take home. There was a massive Queue and we had to wait for ages. Then we went up the stairs and used them until everyone had got there buy.
